Kei Eun Chang and his wife Young tried to start a Korean church in the south side of Boston while Kei Eun was pursuing his PhD work at Boston University. Though they were able to minister to a number of people, the church just did not develop as they had hoped. Meanwhile, God was working on a Korean-American businessman who was attending Manchester Christian Church and was well-connected to the Korean community. He wanted to introduce other Korean-Americans to the church. But not all the Koreans he knew spoke English. God put Kei Eun and the businessman together through the ministry of Restoration House. Together these two men planned and prayed how they could reach the Korean population of the greater Manchester area. On January 4, 2004, the Manchester Korean Christian Church was born. The church currently meets in the facilities of Manchester Christian Church.
Eunho Moon graduated in 1989 from Christian Mission College in South Korea. He was the Associate Pastor of the Samyang (South Korea) Christian Church from January 2003 through February 2007. He is married to Myoung, and they have three sons. In early 2007, Kei Eun Chang approached Eunho, his life-long friend, about moving his family to the United States to help with the Korean church in Manchester. After prayer, the Moon family moved to the US in July 2007. In addition to preaching on a regular basis, Eunho leads the worship team, small groups, and the early Sunday morning prayer meeting, and is involved in outreach ministries.
